Gwen was surrendered to Redwings in the fall of 2022. Gwen's elderly owner was no longer able to feed or care for her, and Gwen was in terrible condition. Gwen was a body score of only 2, she was extremely thin, and her hooves were so overgrown that her toes curled up, and she struggled to walk. Thankfully her owner recognized that she could no longer provide for Gwen and agreed to let us bring her to the sanctuary.
