Ox Bridge is a gorgeous Thoroughbred gelding that raced 11 times, placing seven times. Ox sustained an injury to his fetlock in November of 2021 that was surgically repaired, and he returned to work in the spring of 2022. In May of 2022, Ox retired from racing after it was discovered that he had advanced arthritis in both front fetlocks. CARMA rested Ox for six months in a pasture before placing him at Redwings. Ox has now been sound and happy with light work in our round pen for the last few weeks. We will lightly restart Ox under saddle in the spring. Due to Ox's super sweet disposition, we think he will make a nice light-riding horse or therapy horse.
