Oatie came to Redwings in the spring of 2022. Oatie was born on BLM land and was once roaming wild and free. After being rounded up by the BLM, Oatie was sent to a trainer to be gentled, and halter broke. After his training was, complete, Oatie was adopted by a family to protect their flock of goats and sheep. Unfortunately, Oatie wasn't successful at his new job, and his owners reached out to Redwings to help find him a new home. One of our board members immediately inquired about adopting Oatie, and he is now happy in his forever home.
