Redwings Arrival: May 1, 2010
Tucker came to us from Hartnell College. He had been donated to the college for training purposes because of intermittent lameness issues, that prevented him from continuing as a show horse. Even though he was no longer able to be shown, he was a wonderful schooling horse due to him being gentle, patient, and kind. Unfortunately, Hartnell’s program for teaching Registered Veterinary Technicians was closed leaving this sweet animal scheduled for euthanasia. The faculty of Hartnell, could not see such a good horse come to this end, and reached out to Redwings.
We were happy to take this gentle gelding that had served as a kind teacher to so many aspiring students. He is loved by the volunteers who care for him faithfully and where he will live in peace.
