Donate to Redwings Horse Sanctuary online instantly with your credit card by clicking the Network for Good icon to the left. Network for Good is our online donation processing partner. They also let you set up automatic monthly, quarterly, or yearly recurring donations, which is a great way to support Redwings on a continuing basis. Note that your donation goes to our IRS-registered name, “Horsepower Sanctuaries.”

If you prefer to donate monthly by mail, you can download the Monthly Donation Form, fill it out and mail it to us. We’ll keep your information in our private records and charge your credit card for the amount you specify every month.
Planned Giving
You can help secure the future of your friends at Redwings Horse Sanctuary by giving through your will. Bequests are one of the simplest ways to make a gift to the Sanctuary. Charitable bequests have full deductibility for estate tax purposes. Whether in the form of outright gifts or transfers in trust, they reduce the size of the taxable estate, making them a useful tool in estate planning.
You may also designate Redwings Horse Sanctuary as the beneficiary of your life insurance policy, individual retirement account, or other qualified pension plan.

Baby’s Memorial Health Fund

Redwings Horse Sanctuary lost an inspiring teacher in 2004: Baby. At 1800 pounds, Baby commanded attention, yet behaved very gently with people. He started showing serious health problems so a volunteer took him to University of California, Davis, for tests which unfortunately revealed inoperable cancer. Redwings decided to bring him back home where he lived for several more months in comfort with the assistance of volunteers.
Baby’s impact on Redwings was so great that supporters helped initiate Baby’s Memorial Health Fund. Redwings restricts this special fund’s use to the emergency medical needs of Redwings horses. Emergency medical tests and treatments cost a great deal, so your support of this fund ensures the best treatment for Redwings horses that find themselves in unfortunate, unexpected situations.
To donate directly to this fund, include “Baby’s Memorial Health Fund” on the memo line of any checks you send, or in the Designation field of your online donations through Network for Good.
